If you're not sure if you fancy him now having met him then don't do anything with him. You may of enjoyed the attention cos it helped take your mind off your ex but if you don't fancy him don't be with him. Rebound or not. You can't make yourself fancy someone. You're not shallow. If you were to be with him you would need to be physically attracted to him.
