Does a trademark protect the product's name and logo?

You can make application for the combined set of identifiers, but the key thing you need to do is demonstrate that the logos are in active use in interstate commerce, or there will be no way you could defend the logos in court. The logos don't protect anything; you have to do all the fighting to make sure someone else doesn't use your identifiers.
