How can i get this girl to open up?

ok. so there is this girl at my school and she is really hard to talk to. if you talk to her she blushes and if you ask a question she gives one word answers and you cant really have conversations with her. She sits with me and my friends at lunch and recess and will follow us around if we move. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help her open up to me?
