What sewing machine is best for me?

im planing to start a boutique and need a sewing machine. the only thing is i dunno which one to get as there are plenty to choose from. ill be sewing cottons, suedes, linens, silks etc. so please suggest some good sewing machines that wont ruin the fabrics as im sewing it :) and something with price range under �500. :) thankyou!!!!
