Can you please help me with this improper integral: ∫dx/[(1+x^2)^2], where the bounds are from 0 to infinity?
This is if I just integrate the integrand: 1/2 (x/(x^2+1)+tan^(-1)(x))+constant....Now what? I'm supposed to get π/4. But I keep getting -π/2! =S
