Who should be resonsible for his dead?

Personally, i think the wife did it. Of course you probobally do to. I mean, they were in the same room, she had had a history of being just strange, with the cutting and calling cops. You said she didnt like him too much, i think she used him to get to the USA and then she well.... got him out of her way. I seriously doubt it was suicide.
