My mum had one of those shag pile carpets in the 70s?

The ones you used to rake after you had hoovered it - anyone remember them? Anyway, my aunt used to come over on a Saturday and rake the carpet. She would then make us walk on the furniture if we wanted to move about the room!! Anyone else have any mad relatives?
