Why is our president holding town hall mtgs., instead of staying in D.C. (Cont'd)?

The president held two town hall meetings today in California, a state that is suffering the most, met with the governor and will appear on Leno for 30 minutes. Then fly back to Washington. Quite a day. Do you think you can do that? While he was gone, Nancy took care of the AIG mess with more republicans voting for it than democrats. This AIG mess was written by Olympia Snow, a republican, and did not include any clauses regarding recovering and recapturing bonuses. They would not not returned their unearned money, so Nancy had to step in. Now Rush and 87 conservatives want the money returned to AIG. Confused? So am I.
