Sweater making - Crochet or Knit? Which one is faster?

It really depends on the pattern that you choose. Generally, crochet is faster, although knitting works up in a more desirable texture. It depends also on the method that you have more experience in. I have more experience with crochet and would pick a crochet pattern, but admire the knitted ones but know it will be slower to complete.
