Prednisone question missed dose.?

On Monday I was given a shot of some steroids for severe laryngitis, bronchitis, upper respiratory symptoms...I had been having for 2 weeks. On Wednesday I wasn't feeling better so called dr. office and they called in a rx for Prednisone. I was to take them on a schedule, I did ok on the schedule for 2 days, but I worked 3rd shift last night and was going to take them before bed this morning and my morning dose when I got up (around 2) Well, I forgot to take them before bed this morning, and so when I woke up I took 3 (last nights dose and today's first dose) Now I'm wondering, did I screw up and take too many? I was just going to finish out the rest of the days dosage thought the day. Or should I not take as many today
