Pport status? Pls hepl me...?

My parents are applied for pport on normal process, and we checked the status through online. My Dad's pport status is "Demand Draft removed and Application is under process". so this means how long its take to get the pport? And my mom's pport status is "Pl. furnish 2 attested copies of School/Birth certificate for proof of date of birth. If an illiterate, furnish notarised affidavit as per Annexure `E' of Information Booklet. If you have lost the School certificate, furnish an affidavit sworn before First Cl Judicial Magistrate". V have already sent that copies to them last week itself. So how long its takes for my mom to get her passport? Pls anybody hepl me...
