Do Creationists have a problem listening?

Well, laying aside that it may not be the same people saying it, it is precisely because they are either mentally deficient or brainwashed that they believe what they do believe. If anyone, for instance, can read to the mid point of Genesis chapter 2 and not see the blatant contradictions, the only thing that can be umed is the weren't smart enough or their psychological conditioning literally made it not compute. This is why only social consequences for nonsense beliefs will work on any large scale.
